(December 9, 2019) – Veritech Systems Ltd announced today that it has achieved a major milestone: 10 years of successful business operation. The security firm, originally launched by its two co-owners in Southampton, has grown into a security specialist powerhouse with over 60 employees with our new Head Offices located in Southampton.
According to the Plimsoll Analysis business statistics report, only about 30% of all small businesses ever reach the 10-year mark. And whilst it’s an accomplishment for any company to reach the 10-year milestone, it’s particularly significant for Veritech. Out of 915 security companies in the UK, Veritech are one of 51 companies who have grown by more than 10% and are the 103rd most profitable security company in the UK. Veritech Systems was launched at the end of 2009 during the global financial recession when the finance industry was making redundancies and companies were closing their doors for good.
Over the course of a decade, Veritech has dramatically expanded the scope of its security offerings. Our research and development is based around the environment and the technology we bring into the business certainly reflects this with the state-of-the-art systems we provide to our customers.
We invested in the business, the team and the future, carefully designed to maximise the full potential of our new freehold ultra-modern offices, incorporating our state-of-the-art 24 hour control centre, training centre, meeting rooms and engineering facilities.
“To say that I am grateful and humbled by our team’s success over the past ten years would be an enormous understatement. I am equally grateful to all the people who supported us along the way. That said, we’re just getting warmed up, our best days are ahead of us.
We have assembled a world-class team here. While I’ve worked with some extremely smart and successful people over my career, this company and its employees are heads above the rest. It’s a truly special place to work.
It would’ve been hard to believe that when we started the company with a handful of people and an idea on a white board, we would end up where we are today. That’s taken a lot of effort and sacrifice.
But what I’m most proud of is that we’ve continued to stick to our core ideals, transparency, accountability, and trust. As a result, we have become Pacesetters approved, benchmarking the standards in the security industry and leading the way in technology"
