Every year the Daily Echo holds a prestigious awards event at the Southampton Football Club for the best businesses of Hampshire and Isle of Wight. This year…We won. Despite some incredibly tough competition, Veritech Systems was voted the Winner of the medium to large business category. We were proud just to be shortlisted given the calibre of business that entered this year and would like to thank the Daily Echo, but most importantly we would like to thank our clients for making this all possible.
A few words from our managing director Paul Oldridge;
I felt immensely proud and completely blown away, the entire team at Veritech achieves astonishingly high standards. Our success has been based upon an incredibly highly-trained and professional team. What makes us different from other security companies is the success we have with our unbroken chain policy, bringing all our services in-house with our own control centre, engineers and response officers, never having to reply on a 3rd party. We invested in the business, the team and the future, carefully designed to maximise the full potential of our new freehold commercial property with our state-of-the-art 24-hour control centre, training centre, meeting rooms and engineering facilities. We installed the fastest form of communication with an entire fibre optic pole giving us supreme monitoring capabilities to our clients.
This month we successfully completed our 2nd annual audit with the Security Industry Authority and achieved an incredible score putting us in the top 10% of all UK SIA approved contractors, allowing us to be fully-accredited members of Pacesetters who benchmark the achievement levels set by the Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme.
We are currently undergoing our ISO9001 2015 accreditation which will open the door to even more business opportunities. Completion of our “ARC” (alarm receiving centre) is due before the end of the financial year, giving us exciting developments and more new technology to integrate into our unbroken chain of communication.
In attendance to the event alongside Our Directors Paul Walls, Paul Oldridge and our Operations Manager, Alex Brunsdon who had the following to say following receipt of the award;
The event was put together beautifully and, as always, pulled together with the fantastic service provided by the St Marys Stadium Event Staff. Events such as these allow industries of different types to merge and talk to each other about the types of services that each company can provide. As a Security company, we were on a table alongside Accountants and Marine Engineers, an interesting mix of backgrounds that made for some interesting conversation throughout the course of the evening.
I believe that Veritech Systems Ltd have won due to both the growth that the company has had over the past few years and the amount of community engagement that has taken place. We take pride in helping charities and smaller organisations in the local area to help them achieve their goals. It is important as a business to remember those around you and to help where you can, events such as these help businesses pull together, pool their resources and help each other grow.
Here’s to next year!
